I’m happy to say that there are a lot of facilitation-related workshops coming up in Victoria soon, so I thought I’d make this post a “roundup” of some of the options that I know are available over the next couple of months. Volunteer Victoria has Facilitating Groups: Effective Tools and Practice coming up on February 19.
Royal Roads University has the Instructional Skills Workshop Online (ISWO) starting Feb 17 for one month and the Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) coming up February 25-27 with facilitators from RRU’s Centre for Teaching and Educational Technologies
The University of Victoria Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education (CACE) has Dynamic Presentations coming up starting Feb 28 and the Instructional Techniques Workshop coming up April 11-13.
Camosun College has Orientation, Training & Development happening through March 26-29.
The Canadian Society for Training and Development (CSTD) has an E-Learning Expo coming up in Vancouver on April 14.
