We take on learning-related consulting projects every year for clients. This might involve activities such as interviewing key individuals, carrying out research, providing resources, or making recommendations related to learning strategy at your organization.

Designing a New Member Orientation Experience

We led the Vancouver Division of Family Practice through a process to create a new member orientation experience. It was part of the Division’s strategic work to build and strengthen the connection between learning and learning design with member engagement, to support members and improve primary care in Vancouver. It drew upon learning framework work we had previously completed with the Division. This framework is now in place to guide the integration of their learning philosophy through the planning, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of all learning-related initiatives for their members.

“Everyone really appreciated the way Beth approached the project, enjoyed collaborating with her, and were very impressed with her professionalism and deliverables. I found her report to be very well structured. It presented the findings in a clear and concise manner. We now have a great basis to inform our next actions.”

– Nathan Huculak, Deputy Chief Communications Officer, Canadian Red Cross National Office –

Needs Assessment

The Canadian Red Cross wanted to redesign an in person program (that they take in to Canadian high schools) into an online experience. They hired us to conduct a needs assessment with key individuals and make recommendations on ideal audience and mode for the new program. We carried out interviews, surveyed teachers in three provinces, and wrote a report to recommend next steps.
