Yesterday I facilitated a short session for a local networking group, the Sooke Women in Business, about how to engage participants when doing speaking events. Of course I planned for the session to be very participatory and I asked the group to come up with strategies that they’ve used or seen used themselves to engage groups. Everyone came up with some great ideas so I’ve recapped a bunch of them here in this video blog post. This is by no means an exhaustive list of how we can be engaging when speaking to groups but it’s a great start. Thanks to all the people at the SWIB meeting who provided these crowd-sourced strategies!
