For the second year I’m offering a special discounted rate on educational consulting sessions, for a limited time only.
Educational Consulting Sessions
Consulting sessions are 1.5 hours in length and take place over Zoom web conferencing or phone. During the session you can ask me any questions you or your organization have about facilitation, teaching, learning…anything adult education-related in general! For example, you might want to ask about:
- Redeveloping one of your face-to-face courses into an online course
- How to make your workshop or course more participatory
- Strategies to make your presentations more effective for participants
- Skills for facilitating online, either using asynchronous or synchronous tools
- Developing individual or a program of self-study or facilitated online courses for your organization
- Where to go to gain or grow facilitation or teaching skills, either for face-to-face or online
- Etc. etc.!
Your 1.5 hour session will be your time to ask me anything you’d like about your educational issue(s) and what you’re trying to achieve. I am happy to meet with one person or a small team of people from one organization – whatever works for you.
You may find that booking one of these sessions will help you check off something that has been on your “to do” list for some time, or will help you move forward through a place where you – or your training program – are feeling stuck or ineffective. To be clear, these aren’t coaching sessions; these are sessions where I try to help you as much as possible with advice and knowledge from my educational experience in the time that we have. And more than likely, I’ll send you away with a few ideas for other resources that you can look up related to your questions as well!
Cost: $99 + GST. (Note: This is a special holiday season offer that expires after December 31, 2018.)
How to book: A limited number of sessions (5 only) are available in January 2019. To book your session fill out this Google Form, indicating the dates you are available. Once I receive your form, I’ll confirm your date and time with you and send you payment instructions. (Payments must be secured by e-transfer or credit card within 24 hours to hold your spot; organizations can ask for a cheque option.) Sessions must be booked by December 31, 2018 to secure this rate.
Technical requirements: To access Zoom you should have a desktop computer that can access the internet or a mobile device with the Zoom app installed. A webcam and headset (earbuds at the very least) are highly recommended if you have them, but aren’t entirely necessary. I am also willing to do the session by phone (or Skype) if you’d prefer.
