Come learn with me in these remaining workshops and practice/conversation sessions before the summer hits…

May 19, 2021 – More Elements of Fun: Virtual Games and Activities for Groups (1.5 hours)

Join me this high energy session featuring all new games and activities that you can play with your teams or groups online. Whether or not you’ve already participated in my other “An Element of Fun” session, know that this event will be similar in format yet feature completely different activities. Our focus will still be on having fun and talking about how you could modify and build on the activities to bring back to your setting.

I don’t choose activities that I wouldn’t want to participate in myself, so this should be a comfortable experience for you. Come and gather with others in our virtual space and see how you can laugh and breathe life into your meetings and perhaps even bring your teams closer together.

May 25, 2021 – Design to Engage: Q & A Session (1 hour)

Do you already own my book, Design to Engage: How to Create and Facilitate a Great Learning Experience For Any Group, and are craving getting some of your specific questions answered about learning design and facilitation? Or maybe you want to discuss how some of the concepts in Design to Engage change – or not – when we think about implementing them online.

Join me in this small and informal group session to discuss the concepts in Design to Engage. You’ll not only get a chance to tap into my current thinking about some of the strategies I wrote about, but hear from other facilitators what they think too. (Because I can’t help but facilitate some group discussion in situations like these!)

June 3, 2021 – Tech Studio: Practice with Zoom (1 hour)

“Tech Studio” is a new virtual offering that’s a practice session instead of a workshop. This means that you’ll show up – along with a maximum of just three other people – and your questions will drive what we do and explore. It’s YOUR session and you get to push all the buttons, guided by my expertise in the particular platform. This one is about Zoom.

Whether you want to get a handle on the basics, or deepen the base of familiarity you’ve already got, we’ll explore and test together as a small group. We might even have some design/facilitation-related discussions but our focus will be on the technology and what it can do. If you’d like to deepen your confidence and comfort level in facilitating in Zoom, please join us.
