Our team proudly collaborated with Family Caregivers of British Columbia (FCBC) recently to create the Caregiver Support Group Facilitator Training. This blended model course combines e-learning components on Articulate Rise with virtual facilitated sessions.
The training is designed to help participants understand the caregiver experience, build self-awareness, and gain essential facilitation skills. It does so by including engaging stories, role-play activities, practical tools, and self-reflection exercises to enhance peer-to-peer support.
Accessibility was a top priority in our development process. In fact, we involved a blind reviewer and a user experience consultant to help ensure the course is inclusive and user-friendly for all participants. We’re now excited to take what we learned from these reviews and apply it to additional projects with FCBC and other clients.
